DWG True View 2023 launch error 'Sorry, this pre-release product has expired.'

Issue:

After installing Inventor 2023 launching DWG True View results in a ‘Sorry, this pre-release product has expired.’ error.

Causes:

The DWG True View 2023 installer files can cause the error.  Uninstalling and reinstalling DWG True View 2023 from the downloaded application files may not resolve the error.

Solution:

Uninstall DWG True View 2023

  • From Windows Control Panel:

  • Or from the Autodesk Uninstaller file(if it exists) in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Uninstallers\Autodesk DWG TrueView 2023 – English

  • Or use the Microsoft Fix It Tool:

Download the latest DWG True View 2023 installer

Install DWG True View 2023

  • From the downloaded installer files in:

If DWG True View 2023 was installed with Vault Client 2023, the Vault Client update 2023.1 should resolve this error.
