Vault 2024 Thin Client Item-CO property values do not show that appear correctly in the Vault Thick Client

December 7, 2023 Bob Felton

Issue:

When Items and Change Orders need to be viewed in the web browser-based Vault Thin Client, the values set in properties for each Change Order should match what the Vault Client shows.

Causes:

When they don't match, that confuses and causes a loss of trust in the Thin Client's data.

Solution:

This was an oversight that was corrected in the Vault 2024.2 Update for the Vault Server and Vault Client. The Release Notes list the fixed issue in the Thin Client section:

"Resolved an issue where the Title (Item/CO) property value wasn't displayed in the Thin Client. "PDM-40846

This 2024.2 Update has been confirmed to solve the problem.
