Getting Autodesk "Activation Required" Message

Problem:

You are receiving the message "Activation Required" when launching your Autodesk software.

Solutions:

Reset your Autodesk Licensing Type Within your Software

  1. Launch your Autodesk Software.
  2. In the top right hand corner click the drop down arrow next your Autodesk ID.
  3. Select Manage License.
  4. Select Change License Type.
  5. Choose the correct license type for your software.

Reset your Autodesk Licensing Type with the Autodesk Licensing Support Tool

  1. Download and install the tool here.
  2. Follow this article to change your license type within the tool.
