ACC - New Regions - What You Should Know

July 17, 2025 Jeremy Smith

Background:
Autodesk has expanded data storage locations for ACC into new regions beyond the United States (US) and European Union (EU).  ACC hubs can now be hosted in data centers in the following locations, shown with their respective URL's:

  • United States (US)
  • European Union (EU)
  • Australia
  • United Kingdom (UK)
  • Germany
  • Canada
  • India
  • Japan

To learn more about this offering, please review the FAQ.

This article is intended to point out some important details about this change for ACC customers.

What You Should Know:

  1. As with the hubs in the US and EU, contract managers need to first activate a hub in any of the above regions and invite others to the hub before anyone in the organization can access the hub.

  2. A new button has been added to the ACC Home page that allows users to easily switch between ACC hub regions.
    .

NOTE:  If a user selects a region from this list in which he/she does not yet have an active ACC hub or before they have been invited to a hub in that region, a new trial hub will be created in that region under the user's email.  To avoid this, a user should first wait until they have been invited to an active hub in a region before using the "Switch region" tool.
  3. The ACC Bridge tool does not allow files to be shared between projects in different regions.
  4. The Autodesk Replication Tool (ART) can be used to migrate project data from one hub to another hub, whether in the same region or a different region,
