Issue:
After uploading Revit families to Autodesk Content Catalog, users may notice that connectors are visible in the generated thumbnail preview images.
For MEP families, this can make thumbnails difficult to interpret and may distract from the actual appearance of the family content.

Causes:
Content Catalog automatically generates preview images for uploaded Revit families. There is currently no setting available within Content Catalog or Revit that allows connectors to be hidden from automatically generated Content Catalog previews.
Because the preview generation process is handled automatically by the Content Catalog service, connectors that are present within the family may also appear in the generated thumbnail.

Workaround:
If connector visibility is undesirable, the best solution is to upload a custom preview image.
This provides complete control over what users see in Content Catalog and prevents connectors from appearing in the thumbnail.
