Autodesk FlexSim activation process

Issue: 

How do I activate Autodesk FlexSim. 

Solution:

There is 2 different processes to activate Autodesk FlexSim. It depends on the version:

For FlexSim 2027 and Newer:

  1. Launch Autodesk FlexSim on your computer.
  2. A splash screen will prompt you to log in.Sign in using the email address and password associated with that Autodesk Commercial account.
  3. The software will automatically check your subscription status in the background and activate itself.

For FlexSim 2026 and Older:

  1. Go to your portal, navigate to the Licenses choose the List section, and expand your product folder.
  2. Look for an Activation ID string (it usually looks like a long string of letters and numbers, e.g., companyname.com01-ABCDE...)
  3. Open FlexSim, click Help > License Activation, paste that ID, and hit Activate.
