Issue:

"The drawing file contains data produced in a newer version of Vehicle Tracking"

This happens traditionally when opening a file.

Causes:

Newer Version of the Civil 3D Object Enabler is required
Vehicle Tracking Data has been Opened, Modified, or Created in a newer version.

Solution:

Note: Vehicle Tracking files do not support backwards compatibility.

Update your version of Vehicle Tracking to the version the file was Opened, Modified, or Created in

http://manage.autodesk.com/

Login
Select “All Products and Services”.
Find “Vehicle Tracking”.
Select “View Downloads”.
You can then download the version that matches the file format.

Install the version of Vehicle Tracking Object Enabler that is required for the version the file was Opened, Modified, or Created in.

Select “Product Updates” on the left of the site.
Select Release Date in the upper right and select “All”.
In the search field type “Vehicle Tracking Object Enabler”.
