Error 1 when installing Autodesk 2022 or 2023 software

Issue:

When installing Autodesk 2022 or 2023 products you get an “Install Error:” “The install couldn’t finish. Error 1”

Solution:

1. On the bottom left Windows start button type “services”
2. Click on “Services app”

3. Double click on the “Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service” to open it.
