Pressure Network Catalog Paths Randomly Change

May 4, 2026 Ryan Wunderlich

Applies to:
All Civil 3D Products

Issue:
You have your Pressure Network Catalog Path set to a custom location in your profile and after opening a different drawing it resets to a different location or to the default location.

Causes:
This is caused by the Pressure Parts list in the drawing.  When opening a drawing that uses your custom location for the parts lists it stays, as soon as you open a drawing that is set differently it changes to that location
Custom Template location.

Solution:
This issue doesn’t always occur but being aware that it can alter the Parts Catalog location when opening a different drawing, you’ll need to reset it back to correctly add new pressure parts.
