Your company upgraded to new servers and suddenly you have performance issues opening, saving, and general performance issues with custom profiles.

You open an AutoCAD Drawing and the Text object(s) display incorrectly or show the wrong font

You have Custom fonts used in your drawings and you don’t have them available for use in your AutoCAD version.

You want to create custom linetypes, but need to have shape files for complex geometry in the shapes in an AutoCAD-based product.

You have Multiline Text (MTEXT) objects that the font, color, height, bold, etc. doesn’t update when trying to alter the properties. Caused by Text overrides and this is how to clear them.

When plotting in AutoCAD using CTB or STB plot styles, objects using True Type fonts (TTF) are not honoring the lineweight settings in the CTB or STB.

When plotting Pressure Networks in a STB (Style based) drawing, the fittings come out in color or do not honor the STB set for that layer

Object Snaps (OSNAPS) not working on Survey Figures, some area snap properly, other areas show the snap in the wrong locations

When plotting layout tabs in Civil 3D, the labels or tables are suddenly too large or too small and the plot is not correct

This is a known issue that can occur in some drawings and has no permanent solution, but there is a work-around.

You have slow behaviors when panning or zooming in AutoCAD-based 2022 and newer products.  Viewports in a layout tab will lose linework when zooming or panning, requiring regens to make visible again.

You want the Classic Menubar in either AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP and only see Express when you set MENUBAR = 1

You are testing a product and have an active trial for that product that has not expired.  You choose to buy tokens and cannot activate the product using tokens.

Infraworks models stored on cloud drives (like Sharepoint, One Drive, etc.) will not open when launched from Infraworks.

This problem can be caused by a few different things, but usually it’s a permissions issue of some kind

The best way to disable this function is to rename the folder where the EXE files that monitor the activity are stored.

This is a defect that was introduced with the 2022.1.3 Update for Civil 3D and was only corrected in Civil 3D 2024
