Issue: Autodesk Installation logs show "Error Code: -1073741819" after a failed installation.
Solution:
- In the Windows search bar enter "Services".
- In Services confirm that the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service exists.
- If the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service is not running, right click on the service and click "Start".
- If the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service is not listed install it here.
- Try the installation again.
If the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service is already running in Services:
- Open Windows File Explorer.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing.
- Run the uninstall.exe as an administrator.
- Once the folder is empty, re-install the latest version of the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service here.
- Try the installation again.
