AutoCAD: Windows 11 AutoCAD locks up when inserting and opening files

Issue:
AutoCAD: Windows 11 AutoCAD locks up when inserting and opening files. Can lock up and wait 4 – 5 minutes and it will come back.


Causes:
AutoCAD is running in efficiency mode in Windows 11.


Solution:

How to turn off efficiency mode in Windows 11
1.    Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) (right click on the task bar at the bottom of Windows and select Task Manager).
2.    Select Processes in Task Manager.
3.    Highlight the app that is in efficiency mode.
4.    In the upper right select efficiency mode to turn this feature on or off.
5.    Or you can right click the offending app and select efficiency mode on or off.
