Vault Job Processor Not Honoring Publish Settings

December 31, 2025 Heath White

Issue:
You have some drawings that have visualizations which don’t match your Vault Publish Settings. This may be that you have the Publish Settings configured to print “Layout,” but the visualizations print objects outside of the Layout.

Causes:
This problem is usually caused by the Job Processor system not having a known page setup. The Job Processor then uses a default page setup called “AutoloaderModelsetup.” This page setup is found in the “TrueViewSetup.dwg” that the Job Processor uses. This means if you have one layout that is a size B and one that is a size D but the plotter is missing from the Job Processor, all layouts will default to the sheet size set in this “AutoloaderModelsetup” page setup.

Solution:
To correct the issue, modify the “TrueViewSetup.dwg.” The default path is "C:\ProgramFiles\Autodesk\Vault Client <year>\Explorer." Initialize the Layouts and set the page setup to match your print specifications. Then save that file and if applicable copy it to all other Job Processor systems to ensure consistent visualization creation.
