Revit 2023 - BIM 360 Manage Cloud Model Changes

February 16, 2024 Gregory Lee

Revit Version: Revit 2023 and up

Issue:

Manage Cloud Models command is no longer available on Revit 2023

Users cannot find a way to publish, roll back or relinquish the cloud model.

Causes:

Revit 2023 changed its UI design. Autodesk removed the Manage Cloud Models command and its dialog panel from the software package.

Solution:

Revit 2023 and beyond will allow a user to access the Manage Cloud Model command more seamlessly from the Home screen.

All functions included in Manage Cloud Model are now available from the file sub-menu from the Home Screen.

Version History is Sync with Central history, not the published version history.

Also, you have an additional option to open the specific version directly without rolling back the model.
