Issue:
When the login authentication mode is preferred or required to be Autodesk ID for all Vault access and the Vault login for any of these utilities in the IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Server are attempted:
- Related Files Checker
- Vault Change Summary
- Vault Configuration Export
- Vault Metadata Update
- Vault Security Tool
The login will not complete 'Locating server'. When canceled, the notice 'There was a problem logging into Vault' occurs.
Causes:
For the Vault clients from 2022 and later, Autodesk ID authentication mode is available and expected to work with those Vault Server Utilities requiring that the Vault client be available to sign in to the Vault server but the sign-in hangs.
Solution:
Currently, Autodesk ID authentication is not supported for the IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Server.
Use either Vault Account or Windows Account authentication modes.
Note: Windows Account authentication is not supported for Autodesk Vault Basic, so use Vault Account authentication for those Vault Server Utilities requiring that the Vault client sign in to the Vault server.
