Additional Coordinate Systems Not Working in MAPTRACKS Coordinate Tracker

Additional Coordinate Systems Not Working in MAPTRACKS Coordinate Tracker 

Applies to: 
Civil 3D 2025, 2026 with AutoCAD Map 3D 

Issue: 
The MAPTRACKS Coordinate Tracker displays the current drawing coordinate system correctly, but additional coordinate systems return blank values or fail to calculate coordinates. 

Users may see coordinate systems listed in the tracker, but the X/Y values never populate. 

Causes: 

  • Drawing coordinate system not assigned properly 

  • Coordinate system library corruption 

  • AutoCAD Map 3D coordinate services not functioning correctly 

  • Missing coordinate system definitions 

  • Damaged user profile or settings 

  • Map 3D components not fully updated 

Solution: 

1 - Check that the coordinate systems library exists, usually here: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Geospatial Coordinate Systems 15.00.  Note it may be a different # than 15. 
 
2 - If they do exist, reload them with MAPCSLIBRARYIMPORT 
 
3 - If they do not, use MAPCSLIBRARYEXPORT from a user whose library exists and then import it into yours.
