Corrupted Autodesk Licensing Serivce

Issue: Your Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service is Corrupted. When you try to uninstall/install a new version of the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service, the service is not replaced.

Solution: You will need to remove the service using the Windows Command Prompt.

  1. Open the Windows CMD as an administrator.
  2. In CMD enter the command: "sc delete [servicename]". In this case the service name will be "Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service". 
  3. Open Services as an administrator to confirm that the service was successfully deleted.
  4. Re-install the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service.
