AutoCAD: Drawing Text is a Comment in PDF’s Created Using Autodesk PDF Driver

Issue:

When you create a PDF using the Autodesk Driver. The text shows as a comment.

Causes:

This is as Designed. This was added as a new feature in AutoCAD 2016.

Solution:

How to disable this feature.

For 2016.1

  • Type  EPDFSHX and select the <Enter> Key.
  • Type 0 as the new value and select the <Enter> Key.

For 2017 and newer

  • Type  PDFSHX and select the <Enter> Key.

Type 0 as the new value and select the <Enter> Key.
