Silent Installation of Autodesk Access

Issue:

You want to do a silent installation of Autodesk Access on users’ machines

Solution:

Use a command of “AdODIS-installer.exe --mode unattended” in a command prompt or run the command in SCCM, PDQ, or InTune
To use this command using a command prompt follow these steps:
  1. Download Autodesk Access https://emsfs.autodesk.com/utility/odis/1/installer/latest/AdODIS-installer.exe
  2. Copy the downloaded file “AdODIS-installer.exe“ into a folder to be run in a command prompt
  3. Go to start in Windows and type cmd in the search and “Run as administrator”
  4. Click “Yes” in the Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”
  5. In the DOS window we will need to go to the folder where you copied over the “AdODIS-installer.exe “ file
  6. In my example I copied the file to the temp directory, so I will type cd\ and hit enter. This should take you back to C:\
  7. From C:\  type cd temp and hit enter. This should get you to the temp folder
  8. From C:\Temp I will type AdODIS-installer.exe --mode unattended and hit enter
  9. You should see a C:\Temp again after you hit enter
  10. Autodesk Access should be installed very quickly
