Application Version: Applied All Revit
Issue:
Dashed lines are displaying as solid lines in the Revit plan view.
Causes:
All model lines in the Revit plan view are shown as solid lines despite being set as dashed lines. This issue occurs because the model lines are outside the visible view depth of the plan view.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, check and adjust the view range settings. Follow these steps:
1. Verify View Range:
- Open the plan view where the issue occurs.
- Go to the Properties panel and select "View Range" to open the View Range dialog box.
2. Adjust Primary Range:
- Ensure that the model lines are within the Primary Range of the view.
- If the model line is placed at the Associated Level but the Bottom of the Primary Range is offset, adjust the offset so that the Camera’s field of depth includes the model line.
3. Modify View Depth:
- Adjust the Top, Bottom, and View Depth settings to ensure the model lines fall within the visible range.
- Apply the changes and check if the dashed lines now display correctly.
By ensuring that model lines are within the Primary Range, the graphic presentation of dashed lines should be correctly displayed in the plan view.
