Autodesk Civil 3D: How to Manually Copy a Part List from One Drawing to Another

Issue:

How to manually copy a part list to another file

Solution:

1.) Open both files into the same session of Civil 3D.

2.) Make the Drawing you wish to add the Parts List to active (The one you can see in the drawing window).

3.) In the Settings Tab of the Toolspace at the top select the dropdown as show in the image and select Master View.

4.) In the Toolspace, you will now see all files you have open in this session.

5.) Scroll down to the Drawing you wish to copy the parts List from and expand Pipe Network.

6.) Expand Parts Lists.

7.) Select and hold down the Parts List you want and drag this list into the new Drawings Graphic (Drawing area) and drop.

8.) You will now have this Parts List added to the new file.
