AutoCAD Text always types in uppercase letters even with Caps Lock Off

Issue:

AutoCAD Text always types in uppercase letters even with Caps Lock Off.

Causes:

A variable setting in AutoCAD causes this.

Solution:

To change the variable

  • Type TEXTALLCAPS in the command line and select the <Enter> Key.
  • Type 0 for the new value and select the <Enter> Key.

Now your text should react normally.
