Issue:
When launching AutoCAD Electrical, the application will crash with an AcePmComServer Error Report.
Causes:
It has been reported this error is tied to a recent Microsoft Office update that impacted the Microsoft Access Database.
Solution:
The error can usually be resolved through a Repair of the Microsoft Access database Engine 2016.
Open Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a program.
Find the Microsoft Access database engine 2016.
Right click on on Microsoft Access database and select Repair.
Once the Repair completes, launch AutoCAD Electrical and the program should work properly.
If the problem continues, an online Repair of Microsoft Office 365 should resolve the problem.
In Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall a program, find Microsoft 365 Apps. Right click to select Change.
Select the option for an Online Repair.
Once the Repair is finished, launch AutoCAD Electrical to confirm the program is working properly.
