Issue:
After installing Inventor 2024, the program takes a couple of minutes to close.
There seems to be a small thin dialog box in the middle of the application window and no ability to close or move it.
On the same system, older versions of Inventor or AutoCAD 2024 don’t experience any delay on close.
Causes:
An older Autodesk Licensing Service version was causing this delay on close.
On the system where this was occurring the licensing type was multi-user(network license).
Solution:
Install the latest Autodesk Licensing Service (currently 13.2.0.9150):
After updating the licensing service Inventor quickly closed and the thin dialog box didn't appear.
