Utilities for Revit Error Licensing Issue - The specified Authorization code is for

Issue:

You receive the following error trying to activate the IMAGINiT Utilities for Revit 2021.

“The specified Authorization code is for IMAGINiTRvtUtilities Version 2020 but the application was expecting a license for IMAGINiTRvtUtilities Version 2021. The Authcode will not be authorized at this point.”

Causes:

This problem is due to trying to activate the 2021 utilities with an old authcode, 2020 in this instance.

Solution:

Obtain the code for the IMAGINiT Utilities for Revit 2021-2016 (or the expected version noted in the error) to activate it.

If you do not have an authcode for the correct version you can generate one at www.imaginit.com/utilities-request.
