PDQ error 259 when deploying Autodesk products

Issue:

When deploying an Autodesk product with PDQ you get an error code 259

Solution:

  1. When deploying Autodesk products using PDQ and you get a status “Failed”. Click on the “Command Script” under “Error”, if you see the Error Code 259. You will need to add /W

  1. Under the “Details” tab next to “Command” add /W after Setup.exe and before /qb and save.

  1. The /W command means “Wait until installation completes before returning to script”
  2. You can now deploy the Autodesk product using PDQ.
