Revit Hangs When Switching Between Applications

Issue:
Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 may hang when users switch from other applications back to Revit.

Causes:
The 3DConnexion mouse driver is incompatible with Revit and causes performance issues in Windows 11.

Solution:
Uninstall the 3DConnexion driver from Windows.

1.     Open Add or Remove Programs in Windows.

 

2.     Search for 3DConnexion Driver.

3.     Select it and click Uninstall to remove it from the system.
