Microsoft Edge WebView2 and AutoCAD

Issue:

Is it necessary to have the Microsoft Edge WebView 2 coomponent installed on my machine to run Autocad?

Solution:

AutoCad relies on the Microsoft Edge Web View2 component to run. If this component is absent AutoCad will not start. The folder that contains the WebView2 component can be found at this path:  %AppData%\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx\Rxx.x\<lng>\.WebView2.

(Do not delete this component)

If you are missing the Web View 2 component it can be downloaded here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH
