Deploying IMAGINiT’s Autodesk Software Utilities from Intune

Issue:

You need to deploy  IMAGINiT’s Autodesk Software Utilities with Intune

Solution:

  1. Download the IMAGINiT utilities that you need to install here.
  2. Unzip the files 
  3. Run the EXE file but do not click the 'Next' button.
  4. With the installer still running, navigate to your %temp% folder and find the newest folder. This folder will contain the MSI file for the IMAGINiT utility install. Move the MSI file to a folder you can easily navigate to.
  5. Go to Intune --> Apps --> +Add
  6. Select 'Line of Business' from the 'App type' dropdown.
  7. Click on 'Select app package file' and select the MSI file that you downloaded earlier and click 'ok'.
  8. Fill in the description and publisher fields as well as any other fields you think are necessary. Click 'Next' when finished.
  9. Under 'Assignments' add the group/devices/users you would like to have the utilities pushed to under 'Required'. If you'd prefer the utilities be uploaded to your company portal, add the group/devices/users under 'Available for enrolled devices'. Click 'Next'.
  10. Review the app information and click 'Create'. Your utilities will begin installing.
