Loading a Missing Interface Element (tab) to AutoCAD Based Programs

April 14, 2022 James Branagan

Here is the issue, you’ve just installed a new set of tools which are supposed to have their own tab in AutoCAD. In this case, the CloudWorx suite of tools from Leica Geosystems, and the tab is not showing.

Checking the CUI confirms that the tools installed successfully.

To solve this quickly and easily type CUILOAD in the command line. When the Load/Unload Customizations dialog displays, CLOUDWORX is listed under the Loaded Customization Groups. Select CLOUDWORX and Unload.

Once unloaded, reload the CloudWorx.cuix. Select Browse… and CloudWorx.cuix from the folder location. Select Open and then Load.

Once the Load/Unload Customizations dialog box is closed the missing tab will appear in the ribbon
