License Error When Launching AutoCAD or AutoCAD Based 2020 and 2021 Products

“License Error - ADLSDK_STATUS_AUTH_PENDING 22:Retry limit exceeded connecting to the Service" when launching AutoCAD or AutoCAD Based 2020 and 2021 Products

Issue:
“License Error - ADLSDK_STATUS_AUTH_PENDING 22:Retry limit exceeded connecting to the Service" when launching AutoCAD or AutoCAD Based 2020 and 2021 Products


Causes:
Licensing and single Sign on update/Corruption


Solution:
1.) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing
2.) Right Click on the Folder AdskLicensing
3.) Select properties
4.) Go to the Security Tab
5.) Make sure everyone has full rights to this folder
6.) Select OK
7.) Right click on the uninstall.exe in the AdskLicensing folder
8.) Select “run as administrator” If this folder is empty you can move on to the next step
9.) Disable all Virus Scans and Firewalls (These should be turned back on after this fix is complete)
10.) Download and install the Autodesk Licensing Services Updates
11.) Download and install the latest single sign on component
12.) Launch software to test.
