How to get certificates for completed PNOW courses

Issue:
You want to know how to install the IMAGINiT Utilities for Revit and generate the standalone license at the same time.

Solution:

This information is for Advanced users/System Admins.

You can use a batch file to install the Utilities for Revit 2022-2018 and at the same time generate the Standalone license for it. This way the users will not need to activate it themselves.

NOTE:  You must have Revit installed prior to installing the IMAGINiT Utilities for Revit.

Within the batch file you will need to install the Utilities. You could use the following to install if you saved the .msi file to the C:\Autodesk folder on the client machine, otherwise use the appropriate path for your situation:

    MSIEXEC.exe /i "C:\Autodesk\IMAGINiT Revit Utilities Installer.msi" /qn

Once the installation is complete, then you can run the command to generate the standalone license.

Syntax:

  “C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\IMAGINiT.RevitUtils.bundle\Contents\Utilities\LicenseRequester.exe” <insert My AuthCode Here> /silent

Example:

“C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\IMAGINiT.RevitUtils.bundle\Contents\Utilities \LicenseRequester.exe” LFDYC-364DF-1BQTU-ABBA8 /silent

Note: the above Authcode is not valid. If you do not have an authcode, then you can generate one.  If your Autodesk subscription is through IMAGINiT Technologies there is no charge, go to: www.imaginit.com/utilities-request

The license file should end up in the C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\IMAGINiT.RevitUtils.bundle\Contents\Utilities folder.
