Issue:
IMAGINiT Utilities Reprise License Manager: How to hardcode the dynamic Port.
When using the Reprise License Manager with the IMAGINiT Utilities there are 4 ports that must be open. 5054, 5053, 27051 (by default but can be changed), and a Dynamic port that changes. This last port can be hardcoded.
Causes:
Dynamic Port that must be hardcoded to be static.
Solution:
1.) To hardcode the dynamic port in IMAGINiT Utilities for the Reprise License Manager.
2.) Open the IMAGINiT.lic license file using MS Windows Notepad.
3.) Top of the IMAGINiT.lic file you should see something like this. (see figue1)
4.) Add the line “PORT=6005” after the “ISV rand” section. (Using 6005 as an example port)
5.) Save the file.
6.) Replace the existing IMAGINiT.lic.
7.) Stop and restart the license manager.
You should now have the dynamic port set to static port 6005.

• SERVER NAME represents the name of the server hosting the reprise license manager.
• 0000000000 represents the primary mac address of the server hosting the reprise license manager.
• 6005 is a sample port any port can be used.
