Issue:
There are a number of reasons that the Vault Job Processor hangs on specific jobs. In this article, we’ll look at a specific, but easily curable reason. In the example below, the Job Processor will simply sit at “Processing” until you go to task manager and kill the task.
Causes:
In this instance, the issue is caused by a custom job getting stuck due to licensing. Since Job Processor does not have the ability to show licensing errors with 3rd party applications, it is often difficult to determine that as the root cause.
Solution:
The solution to the cause of this particular issue is activating your seat of the Imaginit Client Utilities on the Job Processor machine. To do so, you can just open the Vault Client and select one of the Imaginit Utilities tools. This will trigger the license activation dialog. Just apply your activation code and resubmit the Imaginit Jobs that were hanging.
