Autodesk Vault 2026.4: Cannot drag and drop files from Vault Client

Issue:
Autodesk Vault 2026.4: Cannot drag and drop files from Vault Client.

You would like to drag and drop a file from Vault Client 2026.4 into Windows Explorer or other locations. However, this fails when you attempt to perform this operation.

Causes:
This is a Known issue.

Solution:

Incident ID: 51849

Workaround
•    Launch Vault Client.
•    Find the file in question .
•    Use the get function so the file is placed in your Working folder.
•    Copy the file from your Working Folder.
