Publishing layouts are smaller than sheet size

Issue:
You publish to PDF (either via command line or via the Sheet Set Manager) and the layouts plotter are smaller than the paper size.  Plotting individual sheets results in correct layout to paper size.

Causes:
This problem can be tracked specifically to the DWG to PDF.pc3.  In the Publish Dialog, if you have that selected:

And you modify the Vector or Raster settings to be higher than the default values of DWG to PDF.pc3 (Vector – 600 DPI and Raster – 400 DPI):

If you have them any higher than the default values, this will occur, for example:

If this specific PC3 is used and modified, this behavior occurs.

Solution:
There are three methods of correcting this behavior
1.    Set the DWG to PDF.pc3 back to the 600/400 and use those settings
2.    Use the AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation).pc3
3.    Upgrade to 2024, as the behavior and changes in 2024 this issue no longer occurs.
