Issue:
When the need arises to select a group of layers to change their color to a light grey to de-emphasize all the objects on that layer, it's tedious to select one layer at a time to change the color or other layer properties.
Causes:
The procedure that works in the Windows version of AutoCAD does not work the same way in the Mac version, whereby the color can be changed by selecting individual layers with Ctrl+Left click, then hovering the mouse over the color property, then right-clicking to 'Select Color' to change to a new color.
Solution:
In the Mac versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, the Layers manager is opened and the specific layers are selected with Command + left click, then use a left mouse click on the color square to see and select a new color.
