Graphics Issues in AutoCAD-Based Products

Issue:
You have slow behaviors when panning or zooming in AutoCAD-based 2022 and newer products.  Viewports in a layout tab will lose linework when zooming or panning, requiring regens to make visible again.  There can be other performance issues as well, delays in commands and other similar behaviors like slow mouse movement.

Causes:
This is mainly seen in Windows 11 but can occur in Windows 10 as well.  There can sometimes be an issue with the graphics handling specifically with DirectX 12.

Solution:
First would be to update the graphics card to use the latest driver from the card maker (AMD, Nvidia, Intel, etc.)
Next would be to turn off the DirectX 12 and revert to DirectX 11
Type in GFXDX12 and set that to zero (0), then close and reopen your AutoCAD based program and retest to see if the issue has gone away.
