Error “The drawing cannot be migrated” when opening or working in AutoCAD Mechanical

Issue:

When opening or working in AutoCAD Mechanical, you receive a message stating.

 

“The drawing cannot be migrated”

“The drawing you selected does not contain any standards. Select another drawing with s standard to migrate”.

Causes:

The standards in this drawing are corrupted. When you go to the AM:Standards Tab in Options The standard tree is empty.

Solution:

To resolve this issue

  • Reset standards in drawing.
  • Type AMOPTIONS and select the <Enter> Key on your Keyboard.
  • In the Standards Menu select ISO or ANSI then select OK.
  • Save the drawing and reopen.
