AutoCAD: How to turn Quick Properties on/off

Issue:

You would like to have Quick Properties turned on or off.

Quick Properties can be very nice or very annoying depending on how you would like to work. Quick Properties is a popup that displays when you select an object in AutoCAD. This gives a short list of the Objects Properties.

Causes:

Quick Properties enabled causes the popup to appear Disabled causing the popup to not appear.

Solution:

Enabling Quick Properties.

In the Command Line type QPMOD and select the <Enter> key on your Keyboard.

Type 1 as the new value and select the <Enter> key on your Keyboard.

 

Enabling Quick Properties Help lists the settings as follows

 

  1. - Turns off the display of the Quick Properties palette for all objects when they are selected in the drawing area
  1. - Turns on the display of the Quick Properties palette for all objects when they are selected in the drawing area

- Turns on the display of Quick Properties palette, but only for objects that are supported in the Customize User Interface (CUI) editor for displaying quick properties when they are selected in the drawing area
