Issue:
Autodesk online help shows CIDs for Pipework, Electrical and HVAC. The list of CIDs for pipework and Electrical is close to a full list however, the list for the round, rectangular, oval, duct and others is missing several different fitting types. See the link for the list of CIDs. Help | Common Pattern Numbers (CIDs) | Autodesk
Solution:
In Fabrication CADmep or CAMduct use the command Folders to open Item Selector, navigate to the zTemplates folder and select HVAC - Systems, and open the shape folder for the fitting type you are looking to create.
For example, under the round folder for round duct has some fittings (CID) for a rectangular take off (CID 58 Shoe Saddle) but in the link above this particular fitting is not displayed in the list. There are several other fittings in the zTemplates folders that do not exist in the list in the link. When checking for a specific duct fitting, check the templates in the zTemplates first.
