Revit crashes when exporting from Advance Steel

Version: Revit 2021 and later.

Issue:

Revit consistently crashes when attempting to export the file to Advance Steel from Revit.

Causes:

The exact root cause of this issue hasn't been verified, but it could potentially be related to the absence of Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010.

Solution:

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

Download the Microsoft Database Engine file from the following link:

( Download Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable from Official Microsoft Download Center).

  1. Download the AccessDatabaseEngine+x64.exe file.
  2. Install the downloaded file.

This should address the problem and enable a successful export to Advance Steel from Revit.
