How to include a custom Revit.ini file in a Revit deployment

Issue:

How do I include a custom Revit.ini file for Revit 2022 and newer versions in a custom install deployment?

Solution:

1. Go to manage.autodesk.com and sign in to your Autodesk account.

2. Click on the Products and Services tab at the top.

 

3. Click on the Custom Install tab.

4. Click on + Create package.

5. Select Revit from the product list

6. Select Version to install and the click on Customizations.

7. Under Customizations, scroll to the bottom and find the Custom Application Settings.

8. Under Select Custom Revit ini file click on Browse.

9. Browse to the location of the custom Revit.ini file and choose the file.

10. After you choose the custom Revit.ini file, it will upload.

11. Complete the Custom Install Deployment package creation with your settings.

12. Download the deployment and run it on a test machine to ensure the custom revit.ini file works correctly.
