Changing the Installation Location of Inventor SDK User Tools

Issue:

You want to install Inventor SDK  UserTools.msi somewhere other than the default location.

Solution:

If the Inventor SDK User Tools need to be installed in a location other than the default directory, you can specify the installation path using msiexec.

For example, the following command installs usertools.msi to C:\Engineering\Autodesk\Inventor 2025:

msiexec /I "%public%\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2023\SDK\usertools.msi" TARGETDIR="C:\Engineering\Autodesk\Inventor 2025"

Replace the paths in the command as needed for your Inventor version and desired installation directory.
