Installation of Autodesk software on Windows Server 2022 is failing

Problem:

When installing certain Autodesk software on a Windows 2022 server the installation fails.

Cause:

Most Autodesk products are not supported on Windows Server OS.  The majority of Autodesk products are not optimized to be run in a Windows Server environment and will fail during installation.

More Information:

  • Revit, AutoCAD, and Inventor software are not supported on Windows Server 2022 OS.
  • Vault Basic and Professional Server are both supported on Windows Server 2022 OS but their Vault Client counterparts are not.
