Issue:
Architecture: Where are the acad.ctb and acad.stb Plot Styles?

Causes:
By Design

Solution:
The acad.cfb and acad.stb files are for the core installation of AutoCAD. These files are not installed with Architecture. If you would like these files you will need to copy them from an AutoCAD core installation.

Using 2027 as an example

  • On a system with a Core install of AutoCAD go to C:\Users\kalanis\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2027\R26.0\enu\Plotters\Plot Styles
  • Copy the files from this location then copy them into c:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ACA 2027\enu\Plotters\Plot Styles.

The Plot Styles will now show up in your Architecture.

Note:

Autodesk Statement

This behavior is working as designed.
AutoCAD Architecture includes its own CTB/STB configuration and equivalent files that are specifically designed for the Architecture toolset environment. At the same time, as you know, users can still access standard AutoCAD features and commands within AutoCAD Architecture by selecting the AutoCAD profile from the Profiles tab. The Plot Styles (PenStyles) folder is installed as part of the AutoCAD Architecture installation process, just as it is with other Autodesk toolsets.
