Parking Lot Layout - Infraworks

June 26, 2024 Dana Rice

Parking Lot Areas, Parking Layout, and Parking Row allow you to show a preliminary design without requiring much time or effort. All three are enviroments created in Infraworks. You aren't required to draw the linework in Civil 3D or create shape files.

Parking Areas are a style of Coverage.

The first step is to create a Parking Area. Then you can create a Layout or Row. Pay attention to the placement of the first corner. Parking Layouts place their opening at the first corner.

Press B to cycle through bay angles. O cycles through orientations.

After pressing Enter you are able to make edits by selecting the Parking Layout grips.
