Levering knowledge of the industry, Autodesk software, and IMAGINiT Technologies’ capabilities, the IMAGINiT team met with Boss leadership to assess the company’s needs. They developed a solution comprised of:
- Creating an AutoCAD Civil 3D drawing template to be implemented as a company standard; evaluating and modifying layer standards; configuring custom styles; and creating surface content, parcel content, and survey content
- Training 12 engineers on the aspects of AutoCAD Civil 3D most applicable to Boss projects
- Conducting follow-up training focused on Civil 3D, hydraulics and hydrology, and Civil 3D grading
With the company standards in place and the training completed, Boss engineers have a more in-depth understanding of Civil 3D software and can generate large project construction plans faster, resulting in more efficiency and profitability.
