Issue:
Attribute Text in a block does not print to RICOH when using non-rectangular (Hexagonal) viewport. It prints fine when using a rectangular viewport.
Cause:
There is a setting in the Ricoh Windows driver that can cause this to happen.
Solution:
Change the “Vector/Raster” setting in the “Image Quality” dialog from “Vector” to “Raster”.
1. In the Windows “Printers and Scanners” go to the RICOH printer/plotter and select "Printing Preferences" and select the “Others” tab
2. Click to view the Special settings.
3. Change the Vector/Raster setting from Vector to Raster for the “Image Quality” selection.
4. Apply/Save the changes.
5. Launch AutoCAD and test.
If that works for you, then you may want to check with RICOH to see if they have another driver that resolves this problem. This problem presented with the RICOH Africo MP C3501 device.
