Issue: When viewing seat usage for AEC Collection licenses in their Autodesk Account, administrators may see more reported activity for Cloud Models for Revit than for Revit itself.
Cause/Reason: This is not a reporting error. This is due to cloud-based activity related to the Revit Personal Accelerator (PAC), which is an application installed with Revit and runs in the background.
PAC improves cloud-based performance, downloading updates to a user's most recently accessed cloud models continuously, even while Revit is not in use. PAC generates product use for Cloud Models for Revit but not for Revit itself.
Solution: This behavior is as designed. The PAC application can be stopped in the Windows Task Manager (shown as RevitAccelerator in Background Processes), or it can be uninstalled. However, in either case, performance when working with cloud models will be reduced.
